Baboni Ogotseng


Baboni has been with MaST since 2004.  She holds a Masters of Arts in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota which she attained in 2001.  This rigorous program covered social science, behavioural science and business and involved receiving extensive training in:

  • Organisational behaviour and theory
  • Staffing, training and development
  • Labour market analysis
  • Labour relations and collective bargaining
  • Data analysis
  • Financial management
  • Financial accounting

Baboni has wide experience in developing people in parastatals, the private sector and government departments in the following areas

  • Customer service and communication
  • Leadership, management and Supervisory development
  • Team building and team effectiveness
  • Priority management
  • Selling skills

Baboni also works with individual managers in one-on-one coaching sessions to help them break through work related problems and develop effective working and leadership habits.

From 1994 to 2003 she worked in government and the private sector providing HR support in areas such as staff recruitment and transfers, staff welfare, facilitating the option from defined benefit to defined contributory scheme and administering disciplinary procedures.
